Vasudha Foundation works on multiple projects, funded by various philanthropic organisations. 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Machine Learning Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing machine learning models on satellite and hyperspectral images, as well as implementing MLops solutions for efficient model deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing a deep-learning model on satellite and hyperspectral images for various applications, such as remote sensing, agriculture, and environmental monitoring
• Collect, preprocess, and annotate large datasets of satellite and hyperspectral images for model training and evaluation
• Creating a data repository encompassing empirical data
• Perform robust computational and simulation exercises as required
• Evaluate and fine-tune machine learning models to ensure high accuracy and performance on real-world data.
• Implement MLops solutions for efficient model deployment and maintenance, including continuous integration and deployment, version control, and automated testing.
• Ensuring continuous coordination and collaboration with the key stakeholders

Applicant Profile:

• Minimum requirements: BTech/MTech/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in developing machine learning models on satellite and/or hyperspectral images, using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Strong expertise in MLops solutions, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a must
• Candidate should have good communication skills and be able to work in a team

Duration:

This position is part-time/Full time and is available for one year contract initially; however, it can be extended for another 6 months depending on the project requirements.

Remuneration:

The gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
