Qualification and Requirements:
- Masters in Engineering / Energy-related discipline or developmental studies
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (Freshers can also apply) in energy space with a focus on renewable energy.
- Location: The candidate will be based out in Bhopal.
- Duration: 1 year, can be extended based on the performance.
Purpose of the Role:
- Develop and strengthen Vasudha Foundation’s engagement in the power sector by undertaking research and analysis on policy and regulatory issues across the electricity and associated fuel sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Project implementation:
- Effectively execute assigned projects, ensuring high standards of quality and adherence to timelines, while coordinating seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review, analyze, and draft policy, regulatory, and scheme-related documents within the renewable energy sector.
- Support the power sector team in conducting research and analytical work across the energy and electricity domains, including rooftop solar, with a specific focus on the PM Surya Ghar Yojana (PMSGY) and Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE).
- Provide capacity-building support to various stakeholders under PMSGY, including training, knowledge dissemination, and technical guidance.
- The role will require travel to various cities, as and when necessary, for meetings, stakeholder consultations, and training sessions.
- Networking / Meetings and Conference:
- Represent Vasudha Foundation in project-related meetings, stakeholder consultations, and other events within the energy access and broader power sector space.
