Vasudha Foundation has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG).

As India navigates an unprecedented energy transition, the role of institutional oversight is more critical than ever. This partnership is designed to bridge technical climate and energy expertise with the CAG’s mission of driving systemic excellence in power sector audits.

Key pillars of this collaboration include:
▪️Data-Driven Oversight: Building robust data repositories and performance benchmarks to enable outcome-based audits and precise risk identification for DISCOMs.
▪️Capacity Building: Facilitating specialised workshops, developing technical compendiums, and providing training to empower CAG officers with deep-dive sectoral knowledge.
▪️Knowledge Exchange: Ensuring a continuous flow of data and insights to keep pace with the evolving regulatory and operational landscape of the power sector.

This engagement is a natural progression of our ongoing work with the CAG’s office. Following our technical contributions during the National Workshop on Horizontal Performance Audit (held on 5th–6th February 2026), we are honored that some of our recommendations for the DISCOM Performance Audit Design Matrix have been adopted into the national auditing framework.

This MoU reinforces our shared commitment to data-driven governance and informed decision-making. We look forward to supporting a more transparent, accountable, and resilient power sector as we work toward the vision of hashtag#ViksitBharat2047.
